With GW as your Loan Officer, you will be amazed at how quickly and simply the loan process moves. Before you know it, you can be approved for a loan that will perfectly fit your financial needs. The following steps will ensure you are qualified for the home of your choice:
STEP ONE Get Pre-qualified
Find out how much home you can buy before you start looking. Realtors are reluctant to work with purchasers who have not been pre-qualified. In a five minute interview, GW will calculate your buying power based on your credit, income and assets. Then, he will provide the Realtor with a “Pre-Qualification” letter. This letter lets the Realtor know that you are a serious buyer and that you are looking in a price range that you can afford.
STEP TWO Get Pre-approved
If you want the clout of an “all-cash” buyer, then you want to get pre-approved. This is one step above the pre-qualification process. GW will ask for certain income and asset documentation which can be faxed or emailed to him. Along with the loan application (which you can fill out online), he will run your loan file through an Automated Underwriting System (AUS). The “approval” from this system is accepted by all of GW’s lenders. With the approval in hand, GW will issue an “Approval” letter addressed to the Realtor and/or Seller. If someone is competing for the same home as you, your approval status will win the contract.
