About G.W.

G.W. Fisher has enjoyed a long and rewarding career in real estate and finance. Whereas most loan officers last only a few years in this competitive environment, G.W. is in his second decade. He consistently ranks as one of the top producing loan officers not only because of his personal commitment to excellence, but also because of the quality of his support staff.  His Senior Processor, Lou Ann Kraus, has been with him for over fourteen years. Together, they have closed close to one-half billion dollars in mortgages.

G.W. joined Severn Mortgage Corporation in 2000 as a Producing Branch Manager. That same year, Severn Mortgage was voted one of the best mortgage companies in Loudoun County, Virginia by the readers of "Leesburg Today" newspaper. In the ensuing years, Severn Mortgage has repeated that honor an additional four times. G.W. is proud to be associated with such an outstanding firm.

But before becoming a mortgage originator, he was a commercial and residential Realtor. Because of this background, G.W. can relate to and anticipate the issues that your Realtor faces on every purchase transaction. For this reason, Realtors consider him to be a tremendous asset — from the time of contract presentation to the final signing of the closing documents.

G.W. currently resides in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with his wife, Lou, and their three-year-old Shih Tzu, "Tootsie." By the way, his initials do stand for George Washington.
